The Long Range Legacy Transmitter is designed for simple wireless switching. With 6 digital inputs and paired with a Long Range Legacy Receiver the system performs up to 5 miles, it is the simple solution for applications where faulty wire replacement or new installation is not possible or practical.

The Long Range Transmitter is an integral part of the Long Range Legacy Systems. With a range of up to 5 miles*, the Long Range Legacy System is designed for simple wireless switching. The Legacy Stationary Systems are the simple solution for applications where faulty wire replacement or new installation is not possible or practical.
Operation is simple, just connect a switch, relay, or any device with a dry contact closure to the Long Range Transmitter inputs (terminal block). When contact is closed, the transmitter will immediately send an “ON” Transmission. This will change the state of the selected receiver output from 0 to 12VDC @ 1amp. The receiver output can be used to activate a relay, solenoid, or light. Immediately after a contact is opened, the transmitter will send an “OFF” transmission to the receiver, changing the selected output from 12 to 0VDC and turning off the connected device.

Major cities, municipalities, and water districts commonly use the Legacy Switch Systems to control water tank levels. Simply connect the transmitter to a float or pressure switch on a water tank, allowing the receiver, connected to a pump to maintain a predetermined water level. When the water level lowers to a specified level the transmitter sends an “ON” transmission to the receiver, turning the pump on. When the predetermined level has been reached, the transmitter sends an “OFF” transmission, shutting the pump off. With a range of up to 5 miles* and ease of installation, the Long Range Legacy System is the go-to for simple wireless switching.
