<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Founded in 1982 under the name TRC Systems, the original product known as &#8220;RIC&#8221; was developed to fill the need for a more efficient method of servicing automatic sprinkler systems. The company changed its name to Remote Control Technology (RCT) in 1988. Then in 2005, RCT separated its irrigation division, TRC Irrigation Remotes. The companies sold in 2017 and as a result, reunited under the Remote Control Technology umbrella.</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Today, Remote Control Technology, provides simple wireless solutions for control, automation, and telemetry in a variety of industrial applications. Applications include automated pump control, wireless tactical airfield lighting, remote temperature monitoring, and sprinkler control.
