Operation:
Simply connect a switch, relay, or any other device with a dry contact closure to the Long Range Legacy Transmitter inputs (terminal block). When the contact is closed, the transmitter will promptly broadcast an “ON” transmission to the receiver, changing the state of the selected receiver output from 0VDC to 12VDC @1 amp. The Long Range Legacy Receiver outputs can be used to activate a relay, solenoid, or light. Immediately after the contact is open the transmitter will broadcast an “OFF” transmission to the receiver, changing the selected receiver output from 12VDC to 0VDC, and turning off the connected device.
Systems come complete with power supplies and antennas. Simply make your connections, and the Long Range Legacy System is ready to use and guaranteed to perform.

Medium and Long Range Install Guide
Major cities, municipalities, and water districts commonly use the Legacy Switch Systems to control water tank levels. Simply connect the transmitter to a float or pressure switch on a water tank, allowing the receiver, connected to a pump to maintain a predetermined water level. When the water level lowers to a specified level the transmitter sends an “ON” transmission to the receiver, turning the pump on. When the predetermined level has been reached, the transmitter sends an “OFF” transmission, shutting the pump off. With a range of up to 5 miles* and ease of installation, the Long Range Legacy System is the go-to for simple wireless switching.
*The Range of all Radio products is dependent on local conditions and antenna selection/location.

]]>Applications for Medium Range Legacy System are limitless. Just about anything, that can be electrically turned on or off can be controlled remotely using Remote Control Technology’s Wireless Switching Technology. From tactical airfield lighting to automating pump operations, RCT’s goal is to provide a simple wireless solution that is easy to install and operate.
Operation
Operation is simple, connect a dry contact closure to the transmitter inputs (terminal block). When a contact is closed, the transmitter immediately sends an “ON” transmission to the receiver. The receiver changes the state of the selected receiver output from 0 VDC to 12 VDC @ 1 amp. The output on the receiver can activate a relay, solenoid, or light. Immediately after the contact changes states, the transmitter will send an “OFF” transmission to the receiver. Changing the state of the receiver’s selected output from 12 VDC to 0 VDC turning off the connected device. If the location does not have electricity turnkey, 12 VDC solar panel kits are available.
All Medium Range Legacy Systems come complete with power supplies and antennas. Make the connections, and the system is ready for use.
