The Short Range 154 Receiver is an integral part of the Short Range 154 System, designed for use within the industrial market. Just about anything, that can be electrically turned on or off can be controlled remotely using Remote Control Technology’s Wireless Switching Technology. From gate control to automating pump operations, RCT’s goal is to provide a simple wireless solution that is easy to install and operate.

The Short Range 154 System is an easy-to-use wireless switching solution with a range of up to 1/2 mile. The system consists of a Transmitter and Receiver with 1 input/output. Once you have made your connections, the system is up and running. With over 40 years of experience, Remote Control Technology manufactures and sells the highest-quality wireless control systems in the industry.

Operation is simple, connect a dry contact closure to the transmitter inputs (terminal block). The receiver changes the state of the selected receiver output from 0 VDC to 12 VDC @ 1 amp. The output on the receiver can activate a relay, solenoid, or light. Immediately after the contact changes states, the transmitter will send an “OFF” transmission to the receiver. Changing the state of the receiver’s selected output from 12 VDC to 0 VDC switching off the connected device. For locations without electricity,  12 VDC solar panel kits are available.

The Short Range 154 System comes complete with power supplies and antennas. Make the connections, and the system is ready for use.

The Mid-Range Light Duty Stationary System is designed for mid-range, dual input/output simple wireless switching. It is the simple solution when faulty wire replacement is required, a new installation is not possible or practical, or up to two pieces of equipment need to be controlled.

The Mid-Range Stationary System consists of two 2-Input/Output (12-24 Volt AC/DC) transceivers. Simply connect the devices you want to control and the Mid-Range System is ready for use and guaranteed to perform.

Operation

This product allows for wirelessly triggering up to two relays. The stationary transceivers are send/receiver units that send a signal when a dry contact input is closed, activating the corresponding Class C SPDT relay output at the other unit.

An alert relay is also provided for automatic loss-of-communication notification (after 90 seconds) between the two units.
